Take Action: Urge Congress to Fully Fund Section 317

While Oregon Families for Vaccines prepares for the 2025 state legislative session, we need your voice at the federal level now. Congress has passed 2025 budgets, including funding for critical public health programs like the CDC’s Immunization Program (Section 317). This program supports state and local vaccine clinics, education, and epidemic prevention.

However, Section 317 is severely underfunded. The CDC needs $1.6 billion to support a fully implemented, comprehensive immunization programs, but the current budget allocates just $682 million—flat funding from last year despite rising vaccine and operational costs. To protect our communities, funding must increase.
